Testimonials
I was detailing two well used motorhomes. The first coach had cream colored leather pilot chairs, couch, recliner, and dash. The second coach had hunter green leather chairs and dash. I put two coats of your LEATHER OIL on as directed - one hour apart. WOW! I could not believe how beautifully it restored the leather. It shined and felt so soft it looked new.

Planes, trains, automobiles, and planes -- many vehicles utilize leather to benefit from it's long lasting and luxurious properties. Obenauf's all natural ingredients make it an ideal product to soften, preserve, and extend the life of your finest leather vehicle interiors. Obenauf's manufacturers three leather care products, Obenauf's Leather Oil, Obenauf's Heavy Duty Leather Preservative (LP), and Obenauf's Watershield. These remarkable products waterproof, preserve, restore, and protect your fine leather interior from the elements ensuring a much longer lifespan for the interior of your vehicle. Boat owners will especially appreciate the protection Obenauf's offers to shield your boat's leather from the harsh effects of the wind, sun, salt, and water. In addition to its uses on leather, our Obenauf's Watershield works wonders on NON-leather products such as car or boat covers. It offers the highest silicone content waterproofer available on the market and contains no harmful chemicals that can damage fibers! Read on to learn more about using Obenauf's to care for your vehicle leather as well as all your leather coats, boots, shoes, handbags, wallets, watchbands, belts, boots, and more. Or go right to our special offer page to see the special introductory package we have assembled that is perfect for vehicle customers.
Start the treatment of your vehicle interior by thoroughly wiping off dust and grime using a clean cloth. We highly recommend using a natural cleaner such as the White Jaguar Leather Cleaner that is highly effective in lifting deep soils from leather fibers. Once clean, you are ready to begin the application of your Obenauf's conditioner and protectant. For larger interior applications such as your seats, we recommend using Obenauf's Leather Oil since it is easier to apply. Obenauf's Leather Oil is a liquid that applies quickly and easily to fine and coarse grain leather. Simply rub it on with a clean cloth using circular motions, let it soak in, buff off any excess, and know that your fine leather is now protected against drying, cracking, and fading. If your leather is especially dried out, wait a few hours and apply a second coat. Wait 24 hours before applying more so you can be certain of the level of saturation. Note: we always recommend testing the application in a discrete area first to ensure that you are pleased with the results, nearly all leather treatments will darken your leather somewhat.
In addition to treating your vehicle seats, if you have leather accents, steering wheel covers, shifter covers, dash accents, etc. we recommend using Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP. This extraordinary substance, used for decades by wildland firefighters to protect their boots, will give these items the most powerful protection and conditioning on the planet. Use Obenauf's Leather Oil to provide regular touch-ups on a monthly basis.
Finally, for leather that needs extra protection from water, or if you have non-leather items that you would like to water-proof, Obenauf's also offers Watershield.
