good alone... even better with the Leather Oil Friday, August 14, 2026 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Spearfish, SD United States   I started decades ago with Sno-Seal.  Since finding Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP I haven't gone back.  Obenauf's is  easier to work with and performs just as well.  Never thought I'd need the Obenauf's Leather Oil, but now that I've begun using it I wouldn't be without it.  For basic maintenance and on new leather items...  Rather than spending all the time melting the Heavy Duty LP in I apply some  Leather Oil first and then follow up with a thin coat of Heavy Duty LP then wipe off any extra.  Seems to be working great!   I can see where extra water resistance is needed going the traditional route of melting the Heavy Duty LP into the leather, but for basic daily use items the Leather Oil followed by Heavy Duty LP is so convenient and effective.   Many different ways to apply and utilize these products, but I would highly recommend both of them and this company in general!  Very happy these products are available. Received and Deeply Impressed Saturday, January 3, 2026 Reviewer: U Again   I wrote a review not too long ago due to issues with receiving this product in the mail. Well I am very happy to report that after talking with customer service on the phone, who was very polite and eager to fix the issue, that I have received and used the Heavy Duty LP on my leather gloves. This is a truly wonderful product and has performed far better than I had expected. My gloves are well conditioned and fit better than ever.
